Tiny Little Record - remixes and unreleased
Additional Information
As the title implies, this CD is a compilation of a few years worth of tunes. These are either remixed versions of previously released material, or previews of upcoming projects. As with most of my other material, these songs combine loop based rhythm tracks with live bass and guitar tracks. Also, most of these tunes include midi tracks that I composed as well. And, again, these are all instrumental songs.

Tech No Dance is a straight remix, meaning there were no instruments added. Since Baker's Dozen was 100% loop based, this remix is 100% loops. On the forthcoming CD Relaxation Methods I used more midi tracks and live instruments. Relaxation Method #16 employs numerous midi tracks as well as live keyboards to form the sonic wash on top of which the melody, played on The Tenor, sits.

Of all of the tracks on this CD, Slammin' is the most live. Everything except the drums are live instruments played by me. This includes 2 basses, 2 guitars, sample keyboards and analog keyboards. The drums were created from some PCM sample drum tracks. Like Tech No Dance, Piano Portrait is remixed (and extended) from the original tracks for Piano Sketch, which was all loops, no live playing.

The track What uses loops for everything except bass, of which there are 2 separate parts. Yes, even the guitar is loop based. Chocolate Shake employs more midi than anything else. The bass part is live, the drums are loops, and all other keys are midi tracks
